Okay this is not really political, well I guess depending on how you look at it anyway. It could be political.
I saw this post on http://www.perfectduluthday.com/ and thought well this is odd, at least to me it is.
Here is the post:
Birth Stories
ICAN of the Northland meets this Sunday, 4/27, at 3:30 p.m.Duluth Seventh-day Adventist Church3210 Decker Road (just above Piedmont)The topic is Birth Stories.
The mission of ICAN (the International Cesarean Awareness Network) is to improve maternal-child health by reducing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting VBAC.
My question is this, why is there a group against or at least seems to be against c-sections? My wife had a c-section with our daughter. It was not by chose, but she was not progressing and had very high blood pressure. The c-section however went well and as far as I know she had not problems with it. So anyway just a question does anyone have a response?
I was going to ask at perfect day but every time I clicked the comment button I got this page in stead http://templates.doteasy.com/ErrorPages/error404/.

Blood pressure is pretentious by a number of factors. These include the strong point of your heart, blood vessels' order and the kidneys' fitness. A person who movements regularly, most often has a healthy heart that can drive more blood with each drive and will not need to beat as often in order to keep a normal blood pressure.High Blood pressure also depends upon the artery. Hardened and narrowed arteries caused by old age or a high fat diet can make it harder for the blood to flow, causing the blood pressure to rise. When the arteries begin to stop up, the heart is then subjected to harder work. The kidneys' health also affects blood force. Because the kidneys functions to maintain water and salt volume in the body, if the kidney retains too much water and salt then the blood pressure will also boost.
Many woman are choosing c-sections instead of natural birth because of the "ease" of the birthing process and that having a c-section is more "culturally/socially desirable" than being stretched through childbirth. It is "more convenient" to schedule a c-section so you can determine when your baby arrives, not your body or your baby. ICAN tries to let women know that natural is better for you and your baby. I'm not saying I agree or disagree, that's just what they're about.

Tamara,
Thanks for stopping and the great comment.
I would agree with you 100% about the ease and how some people may view that as a plus. In today's world when it seems most everyone is looking for an easy way out of most anything.
As I said my wife had a c-section because she was not progressing along last time. Now with our sencond one she has a health concern. That may by doctors order prevent her from doing a v-back.
She wanted to try to but it does not look like she will get a chance to do so.
I had always thought that a c-section was only second to normal birth. I did not even know you could chose to have a c-section. I thought they were only done if needed.
