I am asking Duluth Mayor Herb Bergson to step down as Mayor. We have been embossed by his latest actions. He was charged with what is now being reported as DWI on Friday December 9th 2005. His blood alcohol level more then twice the legal limit of .08 in Wiscion.

You really should understand that the mayor can't simply 'step down' or resign his post. Even if he were able to step down from his job, he'd only be replaced by someone else you don't like...until the next mayoral election when you might (but not likely) be able to elect someone more to your political liking.
The problem there being, is if you take a lok at the voting records, a relatively small portion of the registerd voters do so when the time comes. Seeing as how the 'lib wackos' as you call them show up in far more numbers than your personal political bent, you'd only get stuck with another four years of complaining about the city administration, which leads me to believe that folks like you aren't happy unless they have something to complain about.
Yes the mayor can simple resign it is not that hard.
