If you are one that votes on looks is this what you want?

Do you really want ugly and ugler on the county board?

The smaller pic is Steve O'Niel commissner 2nd district. The larger pic is Frank Jewell who is running against 1st district commissner Fink.

Disclaimer: This post is to be taken with a grain of salt and meant to be have some humor.

Oooo, that is a cheap shot. There is enough to criticize on issues, without having to resort to appearance assination. Besides, Dennis Fink is no Chippendale's model himself.

Cheap shot no. Come on people lets get real here and have some sence of humor. Is Duluth really that focused on "civility" well at least when it fits your needs that we can't have some fun.

Chris, I do agree there is a lot to discuss and critize Mr.Jewell on.

As far as Dennise Fink being a model you maybe correct but again come on people lighten up a little.

I'm the only "people" here. And, I can lighten up as much as anyone -- just not publicly LOL

Actually, I was not sure how much you were joking. Now that I know: HA! You've got to work on your presentation. ;)

I notice we don't see YOUR photo on the blog. LOL

Of course, anyone who wants can see me at www.duluthsolutions.com or www.cloquetmartialarts.com. What a handsome devil, no? I should run for office!

Chris this blog gets a number of readers weather people chose to post or not is up to them. Do I wish more people would post yes, but I also just enjoy this blog weather people chose to post or not.

That is a good shot on the presentation comment. lol.

A couple more thoughts on this post.

I had many replys about how this was a cheap shot about 6 or 7 only posted the one. Because it is was the only one I wanted to post.

Second, YOu all know as I do even when this was meant to funny. There are people that just vote on looks why I don't know.

You are right about the voting on looks. There is a reson why most CEO's are tall, and many candidates are photogenic (well, not Oberstar or Grams LOL). If we can let factors such as height or appearance overtake our sense of judgement on issues, then we deserve the leadership we get.

Chris,

Agreed 100%. The fact that some people would vote on looks blows my mind. I don't understand who people can't pay attion to the issues.

It is sad that people would vote on looks, or vote for some one just because of a party.

I know I have said many times that it is only a two party system and yes I believe that. However that has been many times I have voted for some one not in the big two partys because I thought that person was the best for the job.

Now I normally vote republican, and believe they are best for this city, State and country. There are times however when some one else gets my eye. Some time that person is with in the party and is not the endorsed candidate and some time it is a thrid party candidate.
