Well I have not....

I have some thoughts on the election, however I think it will take another to day to find the right words to put it all together.

For now I will say this, the two party's need to note that America wants more of a center instead of the far left and far right running with control.

I can't 100% agree since Conservatism was a winner on Election Day. Michele Bachmann in MN CD 6 stuck to her conservative principles despite deceitful political ads against her. Heath Shuler a pro-life, religious Democrat out of North Carolina was a big winner. Meanwhile, two Centrist Republican Senators, Chafee and DeWine, were ousted.

You can also tell this is a conservative country by looking at the ballot initiatives put forth in various states. For example, Wisconsin, typically left-leaning, voted YES on a state amendment defining marriage as a union between one woman and one man.

Bottom line is the Republicans got the Presidency and gains in the House and Senate in 2004 when they ran on a Conservative agenda. However, the GOP didn't govern that way the past two years and the Dems capitalized on that by running right-leaning Democrats in Republican-stronghold districts.
