U.M.D. Kathryn Martin announced that she will retire this year 15 years of leading the school. She will stay on for some special projects.

I will always remember her for dumping water on a fan who was rooting for another team and then (in my opinion) she wasn't exactly truthful about it.
She did get a lot done there while she was in charge though. It is a very nice campus with some nice new buildings.
