The anti war group can't be happy with yesterdays turn out at the rally. About 100 people where there. A far cry there original event a number of years ago. It is however one of the best attendant events in recent events for them, I guess they can take that as a positive.
I wonder if the event was poorly attended because the President is a Democrat. The group likes to play the partisan card all the time. Could it be they are afraid of something else?

Perhaps the low turnout had something to do with who is in the White House; or that people feel helpless now to stop these wars; or that it was a beautiful day. But please be clear about one thing: the Northland Anti-War Coalition has never played "the partisan card." We have consistently opposed US war policy under both Republican and Democratic leadership, and will continue to do so. Our last rally was held during Obama's Peace Prize ceremony, for goodness sakes.
Joel thank you for your comments. As far as the partisan card goes let me be more clear. There are people on the left that play the card all the time. Your group does a fine job being non-partisan.
I think you have to admit most of the people that take part in the rallies are on the left, not that there is anything wrong with that.
I will say this too about the tea party most of them that take part are on the right, again not all but a lot of them are.
