It appears that voting turn out is getting higher. Many polling places now reporting well over 100 votes. This is more then I thought most places would have at this time.
If you have not voted yet, get out and vote you are down to just a few hours before the polls close.

It is being reported now that U.M.D. area turn out is very high. This is good for the yes group.
It is being reported that many polling places have seen a high voter turn out in the afternoon drive time hours, 4-6 p.m..
The voter turn out has also been much higher all afternoon that it was in the morning.
Most polling places as of 6:10 P.M. are reporting well over 130 votes. Some polling places however are a bit lighter.

If you have not voted yet please do so. You only have a few hours left.
It is being reported by my sources now that the U.M.D. vote has slowed down. The source also reports that in talking with those who voted today at U.M.D. there are voting in favor the expasion by at least 3-1.
The west duluth vote however is much closer and in fact the no's may have a slight edge says my west duluth reporter.
The question is who is voting more. The turn out is good. It seems like it will match the 2005 city council election which for a special election is good.
We here at Duluth politics still predict that the yes vote will win by at least a 60%-40%.
Check back for more updates.
