Patrick Boyle in a landslide. Kerry Gauthier kicks butt too. Olson comes in first, Hall comes in last, it's a toss up between Hartman and Stauber, but Hartman pulls it out and wins in a squeaker.
CK I think the Gauthier and Grant race could be an interesting one. I think Stauber will be re-elected. I also don't know who will get the other seat. It is a toss up between Hartman and Olson.
I have heard some people say Olson will finsh fourth but I don't think that will be the case. I don't see her falling that far. I am not sure she will retain the number one spot however either.
Boyle better win in a landslide. If he does not get 75% or more it is an embaresment to him.
John, I don't know you are talking to, but I don't see Olson coming in 4th at all, I see her as coming in 1st like she did in the primary. Duluthians don't like negative campaigning, and also don't like to see anonymous right wing bloggers with their own agendas beating up on someone. I think how many votes Beth receives will say a lot about Duluth, and what it will say is that rumor, gossip, hearsay, and downright lies have no place in our community's public discourse.
P.S. You are so right re Boyle. I think he's going to win in a landslide, though. How anyone can take a candidate seriously who put a clown nose on his face during a candidates forum on crime is beyond me.
I agree with you about Olson, she sure will not come in last. What I am not sure about is if she will come in first. I am not saying she will not however.
The at-large race could be more interesting then some expect it be but only time will tell.
At any rate here is how I see it right now:
Stauber will get a seat and the other will go to Hartman or Olson.
