Duluth city council candidate Robert Wagner breaking yet another law. This one has direct implication to his big to be a city councilor. Does he not get it?
I did not see the sign but my wife did she was driving and send me a text is the 2nd district council up for election. I said yes. See said okay I saw a sign. When I saw he I asked who's sign it was. Robert Wagner she replied. My reply interesting.
You can not have signs out yet. It is illegal but for some reason it does not shock me that Wagner has at least a sign out.

Even though Wagner is an idiot, he cant control what his supporters do with his lawn signs. I recall last mayoral election, Ness supporters were illegally distributing flyers. It happens. I saw a Boyle sign on first st.. Big deal. Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace is a bigger promotional tool nowadays than lawn signs anyways. Surpised there are no laws yet in re: to internet campaigning.
He does control what his supporters do. After all he is most likely the person that put the sign up.
I agree that there are others that do it. I don't like it when anyone does it. It wrong for any one to do it.
I am interested were was the Boyle sign located at?
As far as it not being a big deal I agree and disagree. Is it a huge deal no but the laws should apply to all. If you break them it is your problem to deal with.
This gives an advantage to some one should they have there sign's out before legal time. It could at least be a presepetion of that any way.
I could not disagree with you more on the signs they are still very very importain. As far as internet goes I think people use that more to find events for the campaign. Radio and TV and public events cover the topics of the candidates. Signs are one of the most vital part of a campaign.
I'm sorry, but the more this guy does the more I think he doesnt really want to win. He is using the run as both a promotional tool and for his own enjoyment. As someone who ALMOST ran for the seat out here in Lakeside a couple of years ago, I have to say I respect what he's doing.
Danny if he is using it as tool for something other then improving this city then he is running for all the wrong reason's.
If what you think is correct it makes me think even less of him.
This city is in huge trouble and it need's people that want to work to improve this city. I am not saying that Robert is doing I simpl don't know. I would like to tlak to him and see what his thoughts are and were he stands on the issues.
Simply running for the hell of it doesnt hurt anyone or anything. As a good capitalist I respect him using this as a promotional tool. If he actually were to win, then that's a different story. But again, I don't think that's his goal.
Wagner is the biggest idiot there is around. How anyone would vote for him is beyond me.
He does not understand any of the issue's facing the city .
Anyone is better than Boyle. The guy has no spine. & loses $200,000on his house then talks about fiscal responsibilty. I bet Wagner has never taken that type of loss on anything.
