It's time to take back our streets.

Crime has been on the rise in Duluth, why? Because of people coming from the twin cities along with else were.

The crimes that are up, are not small ones they are major crimes. These crimes have been linked with a drug increase as well as a gang in crease in Duluth.

We need to take back our streets, the time is now. We will have more on this project later. However if you are sick of this problem and would like to get more info quick on the plan please email at duluthneedshelp@yahoo.com .

I've been considering taking the lead on a neighborhood watch or something similar in cooperation with the police department. I live close the the central hillside, and have some concern about crime creeping my way.

What do you have in mind? Email me if you prefer.

When I lived on the east side of St Paul we had a terrible crime problem in our neighborhood. Most of us owned our homes and were unwilling to let the drug dealing go on right under our noses. We organized a community watch that included groups of 2 to 3 people who stood across the street from the drug houses. What the team did was take a photo of everyone who pulled up and entered the house. We wrote down car make model and license and time of day. We had lots of documentation for the cops. But you know what? Once word got out that we were taking photos and documenting autos, the customers stayed away. Soon...very soon, the drug dealers moved off our block too.

KB, That is what I hope Duluth can do. Not just in one area however, but all over the city. This issue is becoming dangers and it needs to stop before it gets out of control. '

By the way thanks for checking in and don't be a stanger. I enjoy your feed back.
